It was just a fine choice for a weekend getaway in Hyde with good value for price. The hotel had a decent pool and spa area, which was nice to unwind in.

The bar had a cracking atmosphere, and the breakfast, although a bit early, filled the belly just right. Plus, the staff were absolutely lovely, making the experience brighter.

Unfortunately, the rooms seem not to be very well insulated as we could hear our neighbors.

Highly recommend for couples looking for adventure

I took my boyfriend for his birthday, and we explored the Peak District like we were on a heist, just the two of us. The staff were fantastic, especially Gemma from the reception who found a safe place to store our bikes overnight.

It wasn’t cheap, but I suppose you get what you pay for.
